Mr. Wald's Website

Welcome to my website!  My name is Bob Wald, and this is my 30th year here at Douglas County West.  I teach Middle School PE and Computers. This is also my 30th year of being the head high school volleyball coach. This will also be my 9th year as assistant Boys Basketball coach for the high school team.  In my limited free time I enjoy playing sand volleyball and spending time with my family.

I received my bachelor's degree through Valley City State University in Valley City ND, where I also played college football.

I am married to Tammi and we have two children, Rachel who graduated from Bellevue University and is employed at Lutz Corporation and is an assistant volleyball coach at DC West High School and Trevor who graduated from DC West in 2018 and graduated from UNO in 2022 with a degree in Civil Engineering, and is employed with E & A Consulting Group in Omaha.
